Annual Impact and Financial Reports
Implementation of Zoning Approach
In 2024, United Kenya Rising introduced a zoning approach that enhanced how we reach and support families. Working closely with local administration, new households were identified and onboarded into the program. This report reflects how community collaboration and structured zoning have strengthened the delivery of the UKR Family Care Model.
Program Strengthening
In 2023, United Kenya Rising focused on strengthening programs across our five key pillars: Education, Livelihoods, Health, Dignified Homes, and Agriculture. Through deeper engagement with families and improved program delivery, we continued equipping households with tools for stability and growth. This report captures the progress made in building stronger and more sustainable communities.
Transitioning to Family Care Model
United Kenya Rising began shifting toward family-based care in 2019, but 2022 marked the year of full implementation, aligned with the enacted 2022 Children Act. This transition strengthened our focus on reintegrating children into families while equipping caregivers and households through the UKR Family Care Model.
